The 2026 FIFA World Cup is unlike any tournament in history. For the first time, the competition will be hosted by three nations: the United States, Canada, and Mexico. With matches spread across 16 cities and dozens of stadium events taking place over more than a month, keeping track of where teams are playing can be a challenge.

To help visualize the tournament, I created an interactive HTML dashboard that maps every World Cup host city and stadium across North America.

Why Use a Map?

Maps provide context that traditional tables often miss.

The 2026 tournament stretches from Mexico City in the south to Toronto and Vancouver in the north, covering thousands of miles. Viewing the tournament geographically highlights just how massive the event truly is and helps fans understand travel distances, regional clusters of matches, and the overall footprint of the competition.

The map also makes it easy to identify which stadiums are hosting matches and where teams may be playing throughout the tournament.
